The X Factor on heavy metal -yhtye Iron Maidenin kymmenes studioalbumi, joka julkaistiin vuonna 1995. Albumilla oli solistina ensimmäistä kertaa Blaze Bayley.

Tällä albumilla Iron Maiden otti sanoituksissaan ensimmäisen kerran askeleen hieman aikuismaisempaan suuntaan. Se sai jokseenkin huonot arvostelut lehdistöltä varsinkin niiltä, jotka olivat tottuneen vanhaan sarjakuvamaisempaan Iron Maideniin.

The X Factor on myös Iron Maidenin synkin siihenastisista. Suurimman osan kappaleista on kirjoittanut Steve Harris, joka albumin kirjoittamisen aikoihin oli kokenut avioeron ja isänsä kuoleman.

The X Factor nousi brittilistalla sijalle 8 ja Suomessa sijalle 2. Albumi ei menestynyt kaupallisesti aikaisempien Iron Maiden -albumien veroisesti. Yhdysvalloissa listasijoitus oli Billboard-listalla vaatimaton 147.
