Wacken Open Air on metallimusiikkiin painottunut neljäpäiväinen musiikkifestivaali, joka järjestetään vuosittain elokuussa Itzehoen kaupungin lähellä pienessä Wackenin kylässä ja sitä ympäröivillä pelloilla Schleswig-Holsteinin osavaltiossa Saksassa. Vuonna 2008 festivaaleilla oli parhaimmillaan päivän aikana yli 75 000 kävijää. Festivaali on maailman suurin metallimusiikkifestivaali.lähde?
