Vuoden laulun Grammy-palkinto (Song of the Year) on yksi palkinnoista, joita jaetaan vuosittain Grammy-gaalassa. Se on yksi neljästä arvostetuimmasta Grammy-palkinnosta. Palkinnon jakaa Yhdysvaltain musiikkialan ammattilaisten yhdistys, The Recording Academy (aiemmalta nimeltään National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences).

Vuoden laulun Grammy-palkinto on genre-rajat ylittävä palkinto, eli se voidaan myöntää mille tahansa edellisen kelpoisuuskauden aikana (yleensä 1. lokakuuta – 30. syyskuuta)^[1] ensimmäistä kertaa näkyvyyttä saavuttaneelle musiikkikappaleelle. Palkinto annetaan vain lauluntekijöille eli kappaleen sanoittajalle ja säveltäjälle.^[2] Sen lisäksi omat palkintonsa jaetaan eri genreissä parhaalle popkappaleelle, country-kappaleelle, rock-kappaleelle, R&B-kappaleelle, rap-kappaleelle, gospel-kappaleelle, kristilliselle kappaleelle ja amerikkalaisen juurimusiikin kappaleelle (blues, bluegrass, folk jne.)

Vuoden laulun Grammy-palkinto on jaettu joka kerta ensimmäisestä gaalasta lähtien eli vuodesta 1959. Myös toinen tärkeä palkinto, vuoden levytys (Record of the Year), myönnetään yhdestä musiikkikappaleesta. Se kuitenkin annetaan kappaleen esittäneelle artistille sekä muille kappaleen levytystä edesauttaneille, kuten tuottajille ja miksaajille.^[3]
