NHL-kausi 1974–1975 oli National Hockey Leaguen historian 58. kausi. Sen aikana 18 NHL-joukkuetta pelasi kukin 80 runkosarjaottelua.[1] Liigaan tuli mukaan kaksi uutta joukkuetta, Kansas City Scouts ja Washington Capitals.[2] Stanley Cupin voitti Philadelphia Flyers, joka kukisti finaalisarjassa Buffalo Sabresin otteluvoitoin 4–2.[3] Flyers oli vienyt mestaruuden myös edellisenä vuonna.[4]

Runkosarjan pistepörssin ja plus/miinus-tilaston voitti Boston Bruinsin puolustaja Bobby Orr, joka keräsi kaikkiaan 135 tehopistettä pelaamissaan 80 ottelussa.[5][6] Hänen kauden aikana tekemänsä 46 maalia olivat NHL:n puolustajien ennätys aina siihen saakka, kun Paul Coffey ylsi 48 maaliin kaudella 1985–1986.[7] Orrille myönnettiin kaudella 1974–1975 Art Ross Trophyn ohella James Norris Memorial Trophy sekä Lester B. Pearson Award,[8][9][10] ja hänet valittiin liigan ykköstähdistöön.[6] Orrin tavoin Bruinsia edustanut Phil Esposito teki eniten runkosarjamaaleja, yhteensä 61 kappaletta. Hart Memorial Trophyn sai Philadelphia Flyersin Bobby Clarke.[6]

Flyers-keskushyökkääjä Rick MacLeish voitti pudotuspelien pistepörssin. Hän teki pelaamissaan 17 pudotuspeliottelussa yhteensä 20 tehopistettä, joista 11 oli maaleja ja 9 syöttöpisteitä.[11] Saman joukkueen maalivahti Bernie Parent arvostettiin pudotuspelien arvokkaimmaksi pelaajaksi ja sai Conn Smythe Trophyn.[12] Parentille annettiin myös Vezina Trophy, ja hänet valittiin NHL:n ykköstähdistöön.[6]
