House of the Dragon: Season 1 on Ramin Djawadin säveltämä House of the Dragon -televisiosarjan ensimmäisen tuotantokauden soundtrack-albumi. Albumi julkaistiin WaterTower Musicin kautta 23. lokakuuta 2022.[1]

Djawadi sävelsi musiikin myös House of the Dragonia edeltäneeseen televisiosarjaan Game of Thrones. Televisiosarjoissa päädyttiin käyttämään samaa tunnusmusiikkia, koska sarjat haluttiin liittää toisiinsa.[2] Tunnusmusiikin lisäksi sarjoilla on muitakin yhteisiä musiikillisia elementtejä, mutta niiden välillä on myös eroja. Uudemmassa sarjassa kuullaan esimerkiksi aiempaa enemmän pianoa ja laulua.[3]

Ennen albumin julkaisua siltä julkaistiin kappaleet ”The Prince That Was Promised”, ”Protector of the Realm”, ”Lament” ja ”Fate of the Kingdoms”.[4]

Colliderissa albumia kehuttiin erinomaiseksi.[5] Mashablen Belen Edwards kuvaili pettyneensä kuultuaan Game of Thronesista tutun tunnusmusiikin sarjan alussa, vaikka hän sävellyksestä pitääkin. Edwardsin mielestä se vihjaa, että tekijät eivät usko sarjan selviävän omillaan.[6]
