NHL-kausi 1950–1951
NHL-kausi 1950–1951 oli National Hockey Leaguen historian 34. kausi. Sen aikana kuusi NHL-joukkuetta pelasi kukin 70 runkosarjaottelua.[1][2] Stanley Cupin voitti Toronto Maple Leafs, joka kukisti finaalisarjassa Montreal Canadiensin otteluvoitoin 4–1. Kyseessä oli Toronton viides Stanley Cup -mestaruus seitsemän vuoden sisällä.[3][4]
Runkosarjan piste- ja maalipörssin sekä Art Ross Trophyn voitti Detroit Red Wingsia edustanut Gordie Howe.[1] Howe keräsi 70 ottelussa yhteensä 86 tehopistettä, joista 43 oli maaleja ja 43 syöttöpisteitä.[5] Lisäksi hän jakoi syöttöpörssin voiton Ted Kennedyn kanssa.[1] Hart Trophy puolestaan myönnettiin Boston Bruinsissa keskushyökkääjänä pelanneelle Milt Schmidtille.[6][7]
Pudotuspelien pistepörssin voittaja oli Montreal Canadiensin Maurice Richard. Hän teki 11 pudotuspeliottelussa 13 tehopistettä, joista 9 oli maaleja ja 4 maaliin johtaneita syöttöjä.[8] Parhaalle tulokkaalle annettavan Calder Memorial Trophyn sai Detroit Red Wings -maalivahti Terry Sawchuk.[1][9]
Suomalainenlähde? Pentti Lund pelasi New York Rangersissa hyökkääjänä 59 ottelua ja teki niissä 20 pistettä.
