Tessa Lynn Thompson (s. 3. lokakuuta 1983 Los Angeles, Kalifornia, Yhdysvallat)[1] on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä ja laulaja. Hän on näytellyt Diane Nashin roolia elokuvassa Selma, Bianca Taylorin roolista elokuvissa Creed: The Legacy of Rocky (2015), Creed II (2018) ja Creed III (2023) sekä Valkyyrian roolista Marvel Cinematic Universen elokuvissa Thor: Ragnarök (2017), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) ja The Marvels (2023). Lisäksi hän on näytellyt Jackie Cookia televisiosarjassa Veronica Mars ja Charlotte Halea televisiosarjassa Westworld.
Taustaa
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Thompson syntyi Los Angelesissa vuonna 1983. Hänen isänpuoliset sukujuurensa ovat afrikkalais-panamalaiset ja äidinpuoliset osittain meksikolaiset ja osittain eurooppalaiset.[2][3][4] Hän varttui Los Angelesissa ja New Yorkin Brooklynissa.[5] High schoolin jälkeen Thompson opiskeli kulttuuriantropologiaa Santa Monica Collegessa.[6]
