Need for Speed: Underground on Electronic Artsin kehittämä ja julkaisema ajopeli, joka on julkaistu vuonna 2003 Game Boy Advancelle, Nintendo GameCubelle, PlayStation 2:lle, Windowsille ja Xboxille.

Peli on ensimmäinen Need for Speed -sarjan peli, jossa tuunataan autoja, eli muokataan auton tehoa ja ulkonäköä. NFS: Underground on saanut vaikutteita Hurjapäät -elokuvasta, ja peli aiottiin nimetä sen mukaan[1]. Need for Speed: Underground on puhdas arcadekaahailu; autot eivät hajoa, vaikka ajaisi suurella nopeudella seinään (paitsi Drag-pelimuodossa). Jälkimmäisistä sarjan peleistä poiketen Undergroundissa ei voi ajella vapaasti ympäri kaupunkia.

Pelin ääniraidalla on musiikkia muun muassa Junkie XL:ltä, The Crystal Methodilta ja Static-X:ltä.[2]
