John Arthur Lithgow [ˈlɪθɡoʊ] (s. 19. lokakuuta 1945 Rochester, New York) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä.
Ura
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Lithgow on muun muassa esittänyt Dick Solomonia televisiosarjassa Kolmas kivi auringosta sekä sarjamurhaaja Arthur Mitchelliä sarjassa Dexter. Hän on näytellyt myös elokuvissa ja radiossa sekä voittanut useita Emmy- ja Tony-palkintoja. Hän tekee lisäksi musiikkia lapsille.lähde?
Yksityiselämä
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]John Lithgow on näyttelijä Arthur Lithgow’n poika. Hän vietti lapsuutensa Ohion Antioch Collegen kampuksella, jossa hänen isänsä toimi draamaopettajana.[1][2]
Lithgow on ollut naimisissa kaksi kertaa. Jean Tayntonin kanssa vuosina 1966–1980 ja Mary Yeagerin kanssa vuodesta 1981. Lithgow’lla on kolme lasta: Ian (s. 1972) Phoebe McCurtain (s. 1982) ja Nathan Georg (s. 1983). Ian näytteli Kolmas kivi auringosta -sarjassa Leonia, Dickin oppilasta.
