Steve Miller Band on vuonna 1967 perustettu yhdysvaltalainen rock-yhtye, joka on kotoisin San Franciscosta, Kaliforniasta. Sen tunnetuin jäsen on Steve Miller, yhtyeen kitaristi ja laulaja.
Yhtyeen aloitettua soittamaan 1960-luvun lopulla siitä tuli nopeasti yksi Bay Arean suosituimmista yhtyeistä. 1970-luvun puolivälissä yhtye teki kansainvälisen läpimurron ja siitä tuli Stadion-rock -yhtye, se myi useita multi-platinalevyjä kuten The Joker, Fly Like an Eagle ja Book of Dreams ja siltä tuli useita top ten -singlejä.[1]
Yhtye on myynyt kymmeniä miljoonia levyä, muun muassa Yhdysvalloissa 13 kertaista platinaa levyllä Greatest Hits 1974-1978, nelinkertaista platinaa Fly Like an Eagle ja kolminkertaista platinaa Book of Dreams -levyllä.[2]
Yhtyeen tunnetuimpia kappaleita ovat muun muassa The Joker, Fly Like an Eagle, Abracadabra, Rock'N Me ja Jet Airliner. Sillä on tähti Hollywood Walk of Famella.[3]
