Man on the Edge on Iron Maidenin kappale ja ensimmäinen singlejulkaisu yhtyeen The X Factor -albumilta. Single julkaistiin vuonna 1995, ja se oli ensimmäinen single, jolla Blaze Bayley lauloi. Kappaleen kirjoittivat Blaze Bayley ja Janick Gers, ja se perustuu elokuvaan Rankka päivä.

Singlellä on kolme kappaletta, jotka eivät tulleet The X Factorin lopulliselle versioille. ”Man on the Edge” on yksi Blaze Bayleyn aikaisista kappaleista, jotka päätyivät Edward the Great -kokoelma-albumille. Kappale on myös Best of the Beast -kokoelmalla.

Iron Maiden soitti kappaletta Ed Hunter -kiertueella vuonna 1999. Kappaleen liveversio on vuonna 2000 julkaistulla singlellä The Wicker Man, jossa laulaa Bruce Dickinson. Kappaleesta julkaistiin kaksi musiikkivideota, joista toinen filmattiin Masadassa, Israelissa. Toisella musiikkivideolla Iron Maiden nähdään soittamassa.

Kappale on mukana Carmageddon II -videopelissä.
