Royal Caribbean International on Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.n omistama suuri risteilijävarustamo. Yhtiö perustettiin vuonna 1968 ja sen vuoden 2007 liikevaihto oli 6,149 miljardia dollaria. Sen aluksista 10 on rakennettu nykyisen STX Europen telakalla, Turussa, Suomessa ja kaksi STX Europen telakalla Helsingissä. Varustamon laivat tekevät risteilyjä pääasiassa Karibialla, Välimerellä ja Alaskassa. Varustamo järjestää myös kausittaisia risteilyjä muun muassa Itämerellä.[1]

Laivat [muokkaa]
Royal Caribbean international omistaa 22 loistoristeilijää kuudessa eri laivaluokassa (Oasis Class, Freedom Class, Voyager Class, Radiance Class, Vision Class ja Sovereign Class). Royal Caribbean omistaa kaksi maailman suurinta risteilyalusta, Oasis of the Seas ja Allure of the Seas. Laivat on rakennettu STX Europen Turun telakalla. Laivat valmistuivat lokakuussa 2009 ja 2010. Allure of the Seas on viisi millimetriä pidempi, kuin vuonna 2009 valmistunut Oasis of the Seas. Royal Caribbean International ilmoitti osavuosikatsauksen myötä tilaavansa vielä kolmannen Oasis-luokan aluksen. Alus rakennetaan Saint Nazairessa, Ranskassa.[2]
