Neil Zlozower
Neil "Zloz" Zlozower on yhdysvaltalainen valokuvaaja, joka on kuvannut rock -yhtyeitä. Häntä pidetään yhtenä merkittävimmistä musiikkialan valokuvaajista. Hänen valokuviaan on käytetty yli 800 aikakauslehden kansikuvissa sekä lukuisissa albumien kansissa, yritysmainoksissa, nuottikirjoissa ja dokumenteissa.[1]
Zlozower aloitti konserttien valokuvaamisen vuonna 1969. Aluksi hän kuvasi ihailemaan artisteja itselleen, myöhemmin hän alkoi myymään kuviaan läheisessä levykaupassa. Valokuvaamisesta muodostui hänelle ammatti levy-yhtiöiden pyytäessä häneltä uusia kuvia yhtyeistä. [2] Uransa aikana hän on kuvannut muun muassa yhtyeitä AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, Ratt, The Rolling Stones, U2, KISS, Michael Jackson, Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Van Halen ja ZZ Top.[1][3][4][5]
Zlozower on julkaissut viisi kirjaa: Van Halen – A Visual History 1974-1984, Mötley Crüe – A Visual History 1983 – 2005, Fuck You – Rock and Roll Portraits, Six String Heroes – Photographs of Great Guitarists ja Eddie Van Halen.[2][6] Hänestä on tehty dokumenttielokuva In Your Face: The Neil Zlozower Story (2018).[7][8]
