Wham! oli brittiläinen pop-duo, jonka perustivat George Michael ja Andrew Ridgeley vuonna 1979, mutta vuonna 1981 virallisesti Wham!-nimellä. Duo tuli suosituksi vuoden 1984 hiteillä "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go", "Careless Whisper", "Last Christmas" ja "Freedom". Seuraavana vuonna yhtye piti taukoa ja esiintyi Live Aid -tapahtumassa, muttei Whamina. Vuonna 1986 Michael ja Ridgeley ilmoittivat yhtyeen hajoamisesta, syynä oli George Michaelin halu kehittää soolouraa. Yhtyeen viimeinen kappale oli "The Edge of Heaven". He tekivät sen jäähyväisiksi.
