Mathcore

Mathcore on rytmisesti monimutkaista ja polyrytmistä metalcorea. Tyylin kehittäjiä ovat muun muassa The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge ja Botch. Termi mathcore on johdettu samaan tapaan kuin math rock ja math metal. Kaikille math-liitteisille genreille on tyypillistä erikoiset tahtilajit.
