Kitarō (jap. 喜多郎), oikealta nimeltään Masanori Takahashi (jap. 高橋正則, Takahashi Masanori, syntynyt 4. helmikuuta 1953), on japanilainen muusikko. Nuorena hän opiskeli kitaransoittoa, ja vuonna 1972 hän perusti rock-yhtyeen The Far East Family Band, joka hajosi vuonna 1977. Kitaro alkoi sen jälkeen tehdä syntetisaattorimusiikkia. Hänen ensimmäinen sooloalbuminsa ilmestyi vuonna 1978. Kitaro tuli kansainvälisesti tunnetuksi NHK:n tv-sarjaan Silkkitie tekemästään musiikista. Vuonna 1986 Kitaro solmi levytyssopimuksen yhdysvaltalaisen Geffen Recordsin kanssa.
