Gene Wolfe (s. 7. toukokuuta 1931) on yhdysvaltalainen tieteis- ja fantasiakirjailija. Hän on voittanut muun muassa kaksi World Fantasy Awardia sekä kaksi Nebula-palkintoa ja ollut moninkertainen Hugo-ehdokas.

Wolfen tunnetuimpiin teoksiin kuuluu romaanisarja Uuden auringon kirja, jonka neljä osaa ilmestyivät peräkkäisinä vuosina 1980–83. Ensimmäinen osa ilmestyy suomeksi 2012.
