Captain Beyond on samannimisen yhtyeen esikoisalbumi vuodelta 1972. Yhtyeen jäsenet tulivat varsin nimekkäistä yhtyeistä (Iron Butterfly, Deep Purple, Johnny Winter), mutta albumi ei kuitenkaan saanut kaupallista menestystä. Albumin arvostus on kuitenkin kohonnut vuosien aikana, ja yleisesti albumia pidetään yhtyeen parhaana. Musiikillisesti albumia voidaan kuvata proge-vaikutteiseksi hard rockiksi. Alkuperäinen Yhdysvaltain vinyylipainos ilmestyi 3D-kannella.
