The Smile Sessions (toisinaan käytetty kirjoitusmuotoa The SMiLE Sessions) on vuonna 2011 julkaistu The Beach Boysin albumi. Se sisältää materiaalia Smile-albumin äänityssessioista kevään 1966 ja kesän 1967 väliseltä ajalta. Smilen oli tarkoitus seurata Beach Boysin klassikkoalbumia Pet Sounds, mutta levyä ei koskaan julkaistu. The Smile Sessions ilmestyi Pohjois-Amerikassa 1. marraskuuta 2011 ja muualla 31. lokakuuta 2011.[2] Levy julkaistiin tupla-CD:nä, tuplavinyylialbumina, digitaalisena ja laajempana boksikokoelmana, joka sisältää viisi CD:tä, tuplavinyylialbumin ja kaksi seitsentuumaista singleä.[3] Albumi debytoi Suomen virallisen listan sijalla 46.[1]

3. helmikuuta 2011 Al Jardine kertoi Examiner.comille, että "Capitol Records aikoo julkaista Beach Boysin version Smilesta joskus kesällä The Beach Boysin 50-vuotisjuhlien kunniaksi. Smile on Beach Boys -fanien Graalin malja, joten se tulee olemaan hyvä.". Jardine mainitsi myös, että Beach Boysit eivät olleet tehneet levyä varten uusia äänityksiä ja Brian Wilson oli muuttanut mielensä materiaalin julkaisemisesta.

Capitol Records vahvisti Jardinen tiedot 11. maaliskuuta kertoen virallisen julkaisun olevan myöhemmin vuoden 2011 aikana. Yhtiö kertoi myös, että varsinaiset albumiraidat julkaistaan monona (kuten Beach Boys -levyt olivat tuona aikana) ja levyllä tulee olemaan myös stereo-äänityksiä. Viivästyttyään useita kertoja, levy julkaistiin ensin iTunesin kautta 31. lokakuuta 2011 ja seuraavana päivänä CD:nä, vinyylinä ja digitaalisena latauksena nimellä The Smile Sessions. Julkaisu on saatavilla normaalina kahden CD:n versiona ja boksiversiona, jossa on viisi CD-levyä, kaksi LP:tä, kaksi 45 rpm singleä ja 60-sivuinen kirjanen.
