Golden Earring oli hollantilainen rockyhtye, joka perustettiin Haagissa vuonna 1961. Uransa aikana yhtyeellä on ollut lähes 30 top ten -singleä Hollannin listalla ja vuosien varrella yhtye on tuottanut 25 studioalbumia. Viimeisin kokoonpano yhtyeessä oli: Barry Hay (laulu, kitara, huilu ja saksofoni, vuodesta 1967), George Kooymans (laulu ja kitara; yhtyeen perustaja), Rinus Gerritsen (basso ja kosketinsoittimet, perustajajäsen) ja Cesar Zuiderwijk (rummut ja lyömäsoittimet, vuodesta 1970). Vuonna 2021 yhtye lopetti toimintansa, kun kitaristi Kooymansilla todettiin ALS-tauti.[1]
Yhtye saavutti maailmanlaajuista kuuluisuutta kansainvälisillä hiteillä: "Radar Love" vuonna 1973, "Twilight Zone" eli "When Bullet Hits Bone" vuonna 1982 ja "When Lady Smiles" vuonna 1984.
