Janet Gaynor (oik. Laura Gainor 6. lokakuuta 1906 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Yhdysvallat – 14. syyskuuta 1984 Palm Springs, Kalifornia, Yhdysvallat) oli yhdysvaltalainen elokuvanäyttelijä.
Gaynorista tuli vuonna 1928 ensimmäinen parhaan naispääosan Oscarin voittanut näyttelijä. Palkinto myönnettiin hänelle kolmesta elokuvaroolista: Seitsemännessä taivaassa, Kadun enkeli ja Auringonnousu. Hänen muita kuuluisia elokuviaan on muun muassa Tapahtuipa Hollywoodissa (1937).
Gaynorilla on tähti Hollywood Walk of Famessa.
