Vengaboys

Vengaboys vuonna 2008.

Vengaboys on alankomaalainen eurodancea esittävä yhtye. Tuottajakaksikko Wessel van Diepenin ja Dennis van den Driesschenin ideoima yhtye nautti kaupallista menestystä 1990- ja 2000-lukujen taitteessa. Sen tunnetuimmat hitit olivat Britannian singlelistan ykkösiksi nousseet ”Boom Boom Boom Boom!!” ja ”We're Going to Ibiza”. Arvioiden mukaan yhtyeen levyjä on myyty maailmanlaajuisesti 15 miljoonaa kappaletta. Myös ”We Like to Party” menestyi kohtuullisesti, ja se nousi Britannian singlelistan kolmoseksi.

Vengaboysin muodosti neljä mukaan valittua^selvennä tanssijaa Kim Sasabone, Denise van Rijswijk, Robin Pors ja Roy den Burger.

Kappale ”We're Going to Ibiza” on uusintaversio Typically Tropicalin hitistä ”Barbados” vuodelta 1975. Pirkka-Pekka Petelius levytti kappaleen vuonna 1985 suomeksi nimellä ”Lellelle”.
