Andrea Wulf on historioitsija ja kirjailija, joka on kirjoittanut kirjoja, sanomalehtiartikkeleita ja kirja-arvosteluja. Wulf myös luennoi aktiivisesti. Wulf on opiskellut design-historiaa Royal College of Artissa.
Wulfin kirjat käsittelevät pääosin historiallisia tieteentekijöitä. Teos The Invention of Nature: Alexander von Humboldt's New World ylsi vuonna 2015 New York Times Bestseller -listalle [1] Kirja voitti myös vuonna 2016 Royal Society Prizes for Science Books -palkinnon. [2]
