Spandau Ballet oli marraskuussa 1979 perustettu brittiläinen yhtye, jonka musiikille oli ominaista funkin ja syntetisaattoripopin sekoitus saksofonisooloihin. Yhtyeen perustivat muusikkoveljekset Gary Kemp (kitara) ja Martin Kemp (basso) yhdessä Tony Hadleyn (laulu), Steve Normanin (kitara, saksofoni ja lyömäsoittimet) ja John Keeblen (rummut) kanssa. Spandau Ballet pääsi valtavirtaan, kun se vaihtoi kasakkapuvut suhteellisen normaaleihin asuihin levyllä True (1983). Yhtye tuli tunnetuksi Duran Duranin kilpailijana ja esiintyi vuonna 1985 Live Aidissa kuten Duran Durankin. Spandau Ballet hajosi kuitenkin vuonna 1990. Sen suurimmat hitit olivat ”True”, ”Gold” ja ”Only When You Leave”. Yhtye teki comebackin vuonna 2009, jonka aikana se teki maailmankiertueen ja julkaisi uuden albumin "Once More".
