Edward Reed Whittemore Jr. (11. syyskuuta 1919 New Haven, Connecticut – 6. huhtikuuta 2012[1]) oli yhdysvaltalainen runoilija. Hän valmistui Yalen yliopistosta ja toimi Yhdysvaltain poet laureatena vuosina 1964–1965.
Whittemore toimi professorina Carleton Collegessa ja Marylandin yliopistossa.
