Jewel of the Seas on Royal Caribbean International -varustamon omistama vuonna 2004 Saksassa valmistunut Radiance-luokan risteilyalus. Aluksen kotisatama on Nassau Bahamasaarilla ja se risteilee enimmäkseen Karibialla.
Rakentaminen
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Alus tilattiin Meyer Werft GmbH:lta Papenburgista Saksasta. Sen köli laskettiin 9. marraskuuta 2002 telakkanumerolla 658 ja alus laskettiin vesilel 13. maaliskuuta 2004. Se luovutettiin 4. huhtikuuta Nassauhun Bahamalla rekisteröidylle Jewel of the Seas Inc:lle ja aluksen operoinnista vastaa Royal Caribbean Cruises.[2]
Liikennöintihistoria
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Alus aloitti huhtikuussa 2004 risteilyt Karibialla. Se oli huollettavana Blohm+Vossin telakalla Hampurissa Saksassa 10.-27. lokakuuta 2007.[2]
