Wiki Loves Monuments begins in September!
The Finnish competition focuses on Finnish cultural heritage sites. To submit your image to the competition upload it to Wikimedia Commons during September. The image may have been taken any time before or in September. The uploader must be the author.
Please note that all cultural heritage sites are not open to the public. If you shoot in a private area, make sure you get permission.
How to upload an image to the competition[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]
Find the item you are looking for in the monuments list (in Finnish, sorry!)
- Press the upload button (Lataa kuva) on the item and fill out the image information using the form that appears on the link.
- Upload another item that appears in http://kyppi.fi or http://rky.fi by pressing "Upload a picture of another item" (Lataa kuva muusta kohteesta) button. Copy the link of the item's information page in http://kyppi.fi or http://rky.fi and add it to the Linkki kuvattavan kohteen tietosivulle kyppi.fi tai rky.fi -sivustoilla. field when uploading the image to Wikimedia Commons.
- Join the rephotography series by adding a link to the original image to the Rephotography-kuvassa linkki alkuperäiseen kuvaan. field when uploading the image to Wikimedia Commons.
