Vọng cổ (vietn. [vâwŋmˀ ko᷉], Hán tự: 望古, "nostalgia") on vietnamilainen laulu ja musiikkirakenne, jota käytetään pääasiassa cải lương -teatterimusiikissa ja nhạc tài tử Etelä-Vietnamin kamarimusiikissa.[1] Sen sävelsi joskus 1917-1919 Cao Văn Lầu (esittäjänimi Sáu Lầu "kuudes Lầu"), Bạc Liêu maakunnasta Etelä-Vietnamista.[2] Kappale saavutti suuren suosion ja lopulta sen rakenteesta tuli perusta lukuisille muille kappaleille. Sävelmä on luonteeltaan pohjimmiltaan melankolinen ja sitä lauletaan vietnamilaisilla modaalisilla taivutuksilla.[3][4][5]
