Maailman ilmatieteen päivä on Yhdistyneiden kansakuntien julistama vuosipäivä, jolla muistetaan Maailman meteorologisen järjestön perustamistamista Yhdistyneisiin kansakuntiin 23. maaliskuuta 1950 tehtyä päätöstä perustaa järjestö 1951.[1]
