@Pitke: you wrote this article. i think it makes sense to extend the text to the coat coloring pattern in general, not only to the one in dogs. See eg. en:Brindle and the other linked articles in d:Q1969557, which are all about dogs, horses, cattle… Only fiwiki's article is exclusively about dogs – at least i guess so, because "koiraväri" seems to mean "coat colors of dogs (koira)". Yeah you're right, this article is exclusive to dogs. I guess it would make sense to extend it to cover other animals as well, and I've considered it at some point... However I came down with a bout of lazyboneitis, and only one or two other editors work with pet-related articles overall. The way things work here, I'll suppose an overall article will be created separately at Brindle, and it will have a subsection about dogs.
