Drunken Sailor on englanninkielinen merimiesten laulama laulu. Sen katsotaan olevan yksi vanhimmista tunnetuista merimieslauluista. Melodia perustuu irlantilaiseen kansanlauluun nimeltä Óró, sé do bheatha ’bhaile, jonka puolestaan on arvioitu olleen vanha irlantilainen klaanimarssi. Laulun sanojen uskotaan olevan peräisin vuodelta 1855. Laulu kertoo humalaisesta merimiehestä, ja siitä miten tätä pitäisi rangaista. Tämä puolestaan perustuu merimiesten runsaalle alkoholinkäytölle, mihin vaikutti osaltaan se, että alkoholin avulla vettä pystyttiin pitämään juomakelpoisena pidempään.[1]
Laulusta tuli muiden vanhojen merimieslaulujen ohella suosittu alkuvuodesta 2021 TikTokin myötävaikutuksesta. Ilmiöstä alettiin käyttää englanninkielistä nimeä ShantyTok.[2][3][1]
