Beauty and the Beast on yhdysvaltalainen draamasarja, joka perustuu Ron Koslown luomaan vuonna 1987 alkaneeseen saman nimiseen televisiosarjaan. Pääosissa näyttelevät Kristin Kreuk ja Jay Ryan.

Sarjan esittäminen alkoi Yhdysvalloissa The CW:n kanavalla lokakuussa 2012.[1] Neljännen kauden viimeinen jakso esitettiin syyskuussa 2016.

The CW aloitti sarjan kehitystyön virallisesti syyskuussa 2011. Uuden sarjan kerrottiin saaneen vaikutteita alkuperäisen Beauty and the Beast -sarjan romanttisista juonenkäänteistä.[2] The CW tilasi pilottijakson tammikuussa 2012[3] ja loput ensimmäisestä kaudesta saman vuoden toukokuussa.[4]

Sarjan kuvaukset tehtiin Kanadan Torontossa.[5]

Toinen tuotantokausi tilattiin huhtikuussa 2013[6], kolmas toukokuussa 2014[7] ja neljäs huhtikuussa 2015[8]. The CW vahvisti lokakuussa 2015 neljännen kauden jäävän sarjan viimeiseksi.[9]
