The Rising Tied on Fort Minorin, Mike Shinodan sivuprojektin, debyyttialbumi. Levy julkaistiin 22. lokakuuta 2005 Machine Shop Recordings -levy-yhtiön kautta. Shinoda tuotti albumin ja Shawn Carter eli Jay-Z oli vastaavana tuottajana. Singleinä levyltä julkaistiin "Where'd You Go", "Believe Me", "Remember the Name" ja "Petrified." Levyä on myyty maailmanlaajuisesti 400 000 kappaletta.
