Hi, and welcome to my talk page on fi.wikipedia.org. Feel free to leave me a message here, but you will get a quicker response if you visit my user talk page on English Wikipedia. Thanks, Sam Sailor.

Hi. I undid a couple of your edits because the source you added only partially supported the text you were citing. There also already was a source in both cases. A smaller thing worth noting is that here we only use numbers in the access dates. Also, the correct form would be 4. toukokuuta 2014 instead of 4. toukokuu 2014. --Parantaja asiantuntija (keskustelumuokkaukset) 14. joulukuuta 2018 kello 19.14 (EET)[vastaa]

@Parantaja asiantuntija: That's terrible, such an offence to use a wrong date format. That is so important to the reader.</irony> You need to take it up with de:Benutzer:TMg, it is their script autoFormatter that makes the change.
In regards to masked booby, none of the sources present in Toiminnot:PermaLink/16418452 confirmed the species' presence in the Western Indian Ocean.
In regards to brown booby, I doubt it makes the article worse with an added source that can be verified online.
Congratulations on micro-managing Wikipedia. I shall not again cross-post references to Finish Wikipedia. Sam Sailor (keskustelu) 14. joulukuuta 2018 kello 20.01 (EET)[vastaa]
You're right about the masked booby, the source doesn't have that information in its current stage, but it once did [1]. Your source in turn did never differ between the subspecies, thus doing so would be original research. In the brown booby article you made it look like the size was taken from your source only. Because your source had just a more exact number between the original numbers, I don't think it added any value to the article. The point of the comment was to guide you, not to make you stop "cross-posting references". Best regards --Parantaja asiantuntija (keskustelumuokkaukset) 14. joulukuuta 2018 kello 21.54 (EET)[vastaa]
