English: Skrova in Lofoten, Norway. This island jewel of the Vestfjord offers the best views of “Lofotveggen”, the “wall” of mountains that runs through the Lofoten Islands. With its population of around 230 (2005), Skrova has been a centre for fisheries and whaling for many decades. This authentic fishing village offers visitors the chance to relax in peaceful surroundings.
