E-3D aircraft were taking part in Exercise Taurus Mountain 3, in the skies over North Yorkshire in March 2012. The Exercise is testing aircraft and personnel from the RAF, Army and Navy who will be responsible for the Olympics Air Security Plan, as well as RAF controllers on the ground.
