Marvin Albert Carlson (s. 15. syyskuuta 1935) on yhdysvaltalainen teatterintutkija. Hän on toiminut professorina New Yorkin kaupunginyliopistossa[1] ja aiemmin Washingtonin yliopistossa. Tutkimuksissaan hän on tarkastellut erityisesti eurooppalaista teatterihistoriaa 1700-luvulta 1900-luvulle.[2][3]
