Deep Forest on ranskalainen yhtye, jonka perustivat muusikot Eric Mouquet ja Michel Sanchez vuonna 1992. Yhtye on säveltänyt ambient-tyylistä musiikkia johon sekoittuu vahvoja etnisiä vaikutteita. Vuonna 1993 yhtye oli Grammy-ehdokas "Paras maailmanmusiikkialbumi" -luokassa (Best World Music Album) ja voitti saman palkinnon vuonna 1996 albumillaan Boheme. Yhtyeen albumeja on myyty yli 10 miljoonaa. Osa myynnistä saaduista tuloista on lahjoitettu hyväntekeväisyyteen.
Sanchez lähti yhtyeestä laulajan soolouralle 2005, jonka jälkeen vain Mouquet on tehnyt musiikkia Deep Forest -nimikkeellä.[1] tarvitaan parempi lähde
