Tony Williams (oik. Anthony Williams, 12. joulukuuta 1945 – 23. helmikuuta 1997) oli yhdysvaltalainen jazz-rumpali.

Williams kasvoi Bostonissa (Massachusetts), ja alkoi opiskella rumpujen soittoa Alan Dawson -nimisen opettajan johdolla. Hän alkoi soittaa ammattilaisena jo 13-vuotiaana saksofonisti Sam Riversin yhtyeessä. 16-vuotiaana hän oli Jackie McLeanin riveissä, ja vuotta myöhemmin Miles Davis kutsui hänet kuuluisaan 1960-luvun kvintettiinsä. Tuossa yhtyeessä Williamsin katsotaan uudistaneen jazz-rummunsoittoa esimerkiksi korostamalla rumpalin roolia tasavertaisena improvisoijana muiden soittajien rinnalla. Williams soitti tuohon aikaan esimerkiksi Davisin levyillä Miles Smiles ja In a Silent Way. Lisäksi häntä kuullaan muidenkin artistien klassikkolevyillä, kuten Herbie Hancockin levyllä Maiden Voyage ja Eric Dolphyn levyllä Out to Lunch.

Vuonna 1969 Williams muodosti trion nimeltä The Tony Williams Lifetime. Siinä oli kitaristina John McLaughlin ja uruissa Larry Young. Yhtye kuului fuusio-musiikin pioneereihin, ja sen musiikkia voidaan kutsua "jazz-rockiksi". Yhtyeen ensimmäinen levy, Emergency!, on noussut klassikon asemaan. Tämä trio hajosi pian McLaughlinin muodostettua oman yhtyeensä. 1970-luvulla Williams työskenteli esimerkiksi kitaristi Allan Holdsworthin kanssa, ja osallistui Hancockin kokoamaan kvintettiin, joka muistutti Davisin 1960-luvun kvintettiä Freddie Hubbardin korvatessa kuitenkin itse Davisin. 1980-luvulla Williams muodosti kvintetin, johon kuuluivat esimerkiksi pianisti Mulgrew Miller sekä trumpetisti Wallace Roney.

Williamsin levytykset ja kiertueet jatkuivat hänen vuonna 1997 tapahtuneeseen kuolemaansa asti.
