The Blasters on yhdysvaltalainen rock and roll-yhtye, jonka perustivat veljekset Phil ja Dave Alvin Downeyssa, Kaliforniassa vuonna 1979. Yhtye ammensi oppinsa suoraan vanhoilta mestareilta (Big Joe Turner, Lee Allen), jotka ottivat bändin siipiensä alle. The Blasters oli tärkeä osa 1980-luvun traditionaalisen rockabillyn nousua, sillä he avasivat portteja muillekin. Yhtye kuvailee musiikkiaan termillä "American music", jossa on vaikutteita eri tyylilajeista: blues, rockabilly, rock and roll, punk rock, rhythm and blues, Folk ja country. Yhtye on edelleen elinvoimainen ja suosittu ja keikkailee lähes alkuperäisessä kokoonpanossaan.
