Rednex on ruotsalainen vuonna 1992 perustettu tanssipopyhtye. Se saavutti hetkellisesti suurta suosiota ympäri Eurooppaa vuonna 1995 ilmestyneellä albumillaan Sex & Violins, jonka kappaleet ”Cotton Eye Joe”, ”Old Pop In An Oak” ja ”Wish You Were Here” soivat runsaasti radioasemilla ja diskoissa. Vuonna 2000 ilmestyneeltä Rednexin toiselta albumilta ”Farm Out” suurhitiksi nousi kappale "The Spirit of the Hawk", joka oli samalla koko vuoden menestynein single Saksassa.lähde?
