Siirry hakuun
Luettelo Ontarion kunnista kattaa Kanadan provinssin Ontarion kunnat. Ontariossa on kaksinkertainen kuntajärjestelmä. Ylemmällä tasolla ovat aluekunnat, jotka jakautuvat kuntiin. Lisäksi on olemassa yhden tason kuntia jotka toimittavat sekä kuntien että aluekuntien tehtävät. Ontariossa on siis kolme kuntatyyppiä.[1] Kuntia on Ontariossa yhteensä 444.[2]
Kunnallishallinto kattaa ainoastaan 17 % provinssin pinta-alasta. Samalla kuitenkin 99 % provinssin väestöstä asuu jossakin kunnassa.[3] Paikallishallinto kuntien ulkopuolella on järjestetty piireittäin. Ontarion kymmenen piiriä tarjoaa välttämättömimmät aluekuntien ja kuntien palvelut pohjoisen harvaanasutuilla alueilla.[1]
Ontariossa on aluekuntia 30, yhden tason kuntia 173 ja kuntia 241. Ontarion kuntalain mukaan aluekunnat voivat käyttää nimitystä county, regional municipality tai district municipality. Kunnat voivat käyttää nimitystä city, town, township ja village.[4]
