John Langdon-Davies

John Eric Langdon-Davies (18. maaliskuuta 1897 Eshowe, Etelä-Afrikka – 5. joulukuuta 1971 Shoreham, Kent, Yhdistynyt kuningaskunta) oli brittiläinen kirjailija ja toimittaja, Plan-järjestön perustaja ja pasifisti.

John Langdon-Davies syntyi Etelä-Afrikassa ja muutti kuusivuotiaana Britanniaan. Hän aloitti kirjailijanuransa vuonna 1917. Tuolloin hänet kutsuttiin myös sotapalvelukseen, mutta hän kieltäytyi aseista ja sai lyhyen vankilatuomion.

Langdon-Davies muistetaan erityisesti Espanjan sisällissodan ja talvisodan kirjeenvaihtajana. Hänen talvisotakirjansa Hyökkäys lumessa vuodelta 1941 suomennettiin vuonna 2014.

Langdon-Daviesin aloitteesta ensimmäiset Planin kummit alkoivat tukea Espanjan sisällissodassa orvoksi jääneitä lapsia vuonna 1937.
