Berliner on sanomalehtiformaatti, jonka mitat ovat 315 × 470 millimetriä.[1] Se on hieman suurempi kuin tabloidi mutta pienempi kuin broadsheet.[1]

Ensimmäisen maailmansodan aikaan vaihtoehtoja ”berliiniläiselle formaatille” olivat pohjoissaksalainen ja ranskalainen formaatit.[2]

Berliner-formaattia ovat käyttäneet muun muassa La Stampa (Italia),[1] La Vanguardia (Espanja),[1] Le Monde (Ranska),[1] La Repubblica (Italia),[2] sekä Neue Zürcher Zeitung (Sveitsi).[2] Brittiläinen The Guardian käytti berlineriä vuosina 2005–2018.[3][4]
