Tyypin 21 fregatit olivat Britannian Kuninkaallisen laivaston fregattiluokka, johon kuului kaikkiaan kahdeksan 1970-luvun jälkipuoliskolla palvelukseen otettua alusta. Aluksista kaksi tuhoutui Falklandin sodassa ja loput kuusi myytiin 1993-1994Pakistanille, joka luokitteli alukset hävittäjiksi nimeten ne Tariq-luokan hävittäjiksi. Luokan pohjalta Vosper Thornycroft valmisti Brasilian laivastolle seitsemän Niteroi-luokan fregattia.
