Sonic Gems Collection on Sonic Mega Collectionin tapainen kokoelmapeli mutta peli sisältää vähemmän pelejä kuin Sonic Mega Collection sekä siinä on muita extroja. Se sisältää myös Sonic the Hedgehog CD- pelin, Sonic R kisapelin ja ensimmäistä kertaa Sonic the Fighters- pelin muutettuna kotikonsoleille.
