Rob Mayth, oikealta nimeltään Robin Brandes, on saksalainen Hands Up sekä House tuottaja ja DJ. Hänellä on monenlaisia eri projekteja, kuten Pimp! Code, Teenagerz (Axel Konradin kanssa) ja Dave Darell (Electro House). Robin on myös osa Rob & Chris-yhtyettä, johon kuuluu lisäksi DJ Neo eli Christopher Ast.

Taustaa

Jo nuorena Robin huomasi taitonsa musiikissa. Hän kasvoi perheessä, jossa musiikki merkitsi paljon kaikille. Kahdeksan vuotiaana hän alkoi ottamaan pianotunteja, se ei tyydyttänyt häntä täysin. Pitäessään ensimmäistä kosketinsoitintaan käsissään, häntä ei voinut pysäyttää mikään.

Vuonna 1996 hän otti ensimmäiset askeleensa erilaisiin musiikinteko-ohjelmiin. Hän alkoi laittaa kappaleitansa erilaisille sivuille saadakseen suuremman yleisön. Hän sai paljon palautetta ja kritiikkiä, jotka paransivat hänen kappaleidensa laatua. Vuosien kuluessa hän sai monia mahdollisuuksia puhua levy-yhtiöille kappaleidensa julkaisemisesta. Kaikki päätyivät olemaan vain tyhjiä lupauksia. Eräänä päivänä hän tapasi tuottaja-kollegansa Wavelinerin. Tuloksena oli kaksikko nimeltä Waveliner Vs. Rob Mayth. He panostivat suuresti kappaleisiinsa ja tekivät kaksi kappaletta yhdessä Harder Than Ever ja Children of XTC. Kappaleet menestyivät jo melko hyvin Saksan klubilistoilla.

Rob Mayth on tehnyt remixejä mm. Special D.:lle, Cascadalle, Groove Coveragelle, Sven-R-G Vs. Bass-T:lle sekä Angel Citylle. Se on tehnyt hänestä halutun remixaajan. Hänen kappaleensa ovat jo yleinen osa isoissa julkaisuissa ympäri maailmaa. Brandes on myös useiden eri projektien takana kuten; Katie Jewels, Pimp! Code, Straight Flush ja Azora. Robin on esiintynyt useissa maissa, kuten Japani, Amerikka, Ranska, Slovenia ja Puola.
