Laforey-luokka oli Britannian Kuninkaallisen laivaston hävittäjäluokka, johon kuului 22 alusta. Luokka nimettiin uudelleen lokakuussa 1913 L-luokaksi ja niiden nimet vaihdettiin alkamaan L-kirjaimella, ensimmäisenä luokkana Kuninkaallisessa laivastossa. Alukset palvelivat ensimmäisessä maailmansodassa, jolloin kolme aluksista tuhoutui. Jäljelle jääneet myytiin romutettavaksi pian sodan päätyttyä.

Laforey-luokka pohjautui Acasta-luokan hävittäjä HMS Fortunessa kokeiltuihin muutoksiin, joita olivat hieman pidennetty kapeampi runko sekä klipperikeula. HMS Laurelissa, HMS Libertyssä, HMS Larkissa, HMS Landrailissa ja HMS Linnetissa oli kaksi ja muissa luokan aluksissa kolme samanmittaista savuhormia. Keskimmäinen hormi oli paksuin.
Alusten aseistusta oli lisätty savuhormien takaisten torpedoputkien lukumäärän tuplautuessa. Putkien väliin oli rakennettu pieni tasanne valonheittimelle. Tykistöaseistus oli sama kuin Acasta-luokassa, mutta niiden sijaintia oli muutettu. Tykit olivat keulakannella, savuhormien välissä ja takakannella.
Voimanlähteenä oli parannellut Parsonsin tai Brown-Curtisin höyryturbiinit, jotka olivat kytketty kahteen akseliin. Luokan aluksista tilattiin kaksikymmentä vuosien 1913–1914 laivasto-ohjelmassa ja kaksi vuoden 1914 hätäohjelmassa.
