John D. Caputo

John D. Caputo (s. 26. lokakuuta 1940, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) on yhdysvaltalainen filosofi ja Thomas J. Watson -oppituolin humanististen tieteiden professori Syracusen yliopistossa. Hän on käsitellyt filosofiaa ennen kaikkea nykyaikaisen mannermaisen perinteen sisällä — hermeneutiikkaa, fenomenologiaa, dekonstruktiota — sekä teologiaa. Caputo on kehittänyt dekonstruktionistista hermeneutiikkaa, josta hän käyttää nimeä "radikaali hermeneutiikka", ja hän on dekonstruktionistisen ns. heikon teologian perustaja.
