Hits! The Very Best of Erasure on Erasuren järjestyksessään toinen singlekokoelma. Kappalevalinnoista päätellen albumi on suunnattu Erasuren uudelle fanisukupolvelle: kahdestakymmenestä levylle valitusta singlestä kaksitoista löytyy myös yhtyeen edelliseltä Pop! The First 20 Hits -kokoelmalta (1992).

Kokoelma ei sisällä aiemmin julkaisemattomia kappaleita, mutta alun perin debyyttialbumi Wonderlandilta vuonna 1985 singlenä julkaistu "Oh L'Amour" löytyy levyltä Sie Medway-Smithin ja Daniel Millerin remixaamassa muodossa ("August Mix").
